Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of Tasime, a free Chrome extension for saving bookmarks, notes, and tabs across devices. By installing or using Tasime, you agree to these terms.
Acceptance of Terms
By installing, accessing, or using Tasime (the "Service"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use Tasime. Your continued use of the Service after any changes to these terms constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Description of Service
Tasime is a browser extension for Google Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers (Brave, Edge, Arc) that lets you:
- Save and organize bookmarks into folders
- Create and organize standalone notes
- Save and restore tab sessions across devices
- Sync all your data in real time across devices
- Recover deleted items from Trash within 30 days
Tasime is provided free of charge. There is no subscription, no credit card required, and no hidden fees.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Tasime. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service. Tasime is not intended for use by children under 13 — see our Children's Privacy section for more details.
Account & Authentication
Tasime uses Sign in with Google (OAuth 2.0) as its sole authentication method. We never create or store a password on your behalf.
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your Google account
- All activity that occurs under your Tasime account
- Notifying us immediately at support@tasime.com if you suspect unauthorized access
Tasime is a personal, single-user tool. Account sharing or creating accounts on behalf of others is not permitted.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Tasime only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use of the Service. You must not:

| Scrape or systematically extract data from the Service using automated means |
| Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your identity |
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
Your Content
"Your Content" refers to the bookmarks, notes, and other data you save using Tasime. You retain full ownership of your content at all times.
By using the Service, you grant Tasime a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and sync your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not use your content for advertising, training AI models, or any purpose other than operating the Service.
Your data belongs to you. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. See our Data Retention policy for details.
Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Tasime extension — including its code, design, branding, and interface — are owned exclusively by Tasime Inc.
These terms do not grant you any right to use the Tasime name, logo, or other brand assets. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the extension without our prior written consent.
Service Availability
We aim to keep Tasime available and running smoothly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with reasonable notice where possible. We will not be liable to you for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
Termination
By you
You may stop using Tasime at any time by uninstalling the extension. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at support@tasime.com.
By us
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms of Service or if your account poses a security risk to other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
Disclaimers
Tasime is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties including, but not limited to:
- Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
- Warranties that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure
- Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of any content
We recommend keeping regular backups of data that is important to you.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Tasime shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data
- Loss of profits
- Loss of business
- Loss of goodwill
- Service interruptions
Because Tasime is provided free of charge, our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed USD $0. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (e.g., via a notice inside the extension).
Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
